The weather forecast was "iffy" (predictions of thunderstorms), but 46 people showed up to ride tonight's TT. The wind was from the ENE gusting to 32km/h, so the return trip was quick. Fastest man of the night was Derek Gee at 18:44 - even without all his aero gear! - and fastest woman was Karol-Ann Canuel with 19:46 which was good for 4th overall. Of the 37 participants who had completed an earlier 15km TT this year in this series, 18 (almost half) improved upon their previous season-series best. As well, 8 people improved upon their 15km previous database best! Special congratulations go to Carson Miles and John Vincent Corpuz. Carson Miles is in his first year as a junior, and his times have come down precipitously in his five seasons of riding - from 27:39 in his 13th year to tonight's 19:21. John Vincent Corpuz only began doing time trials last year, and tonight was the first time that he broke through the 40km/h barrier. Way to go!
